ABOUT THE ITINERARY
Discover the seemingly infinite natural wonders of Patagonia, plus the cosmopolitan delights of Buenos Aires, on this fabulous introduction to Argentina.
Your first stop is the hugely impressive Iguassu Falls, over 250 waterfalls on the border with Argentina and Brazil. Recently named one of the ‘Seven Natural Wonders of the World’ it is a fitting start point, to your journey through Argentina.
Your second stop is Buenos Aires, dubbed the 鈥淧aris of South America鈥. Characterised by world class steaks, lively tango performances and diverse, characterful neighbourhoods, it鈥檚 a city that will immediately capture your attention.
And then comes something entirely different. The natural side of Argentina 鈥 Patagonia, the Lake District and Los Glaciares National Park 鈥 will take your breath away with huge lakes, grassland forest, world-famous glaciers and towering mountain tops. A breathtaking wilderness where you can spend your days skiing, sailing and trekking across untamed landscapes.
IGUASSU FALLS
Arrive into Iguassu airport on the Brazilian side of the falls, where you will be met and driven into the Brazilian National Park for a morning private tour before crossing the border to your hotel in Argentina.
Your hotel is a short drive from the entrance to Iguassu National Park on the Argentine side of the Falls and on day 3 you will be taken on a full day private tour into the national park and will have opportunity to explore the upper and lower walkways, as well as the 鈥楧evil鈥檚 Throat鈥.

BUENOS AIRES

EL CALAFATE
On day 5 you will be driven back to Buenos Aires airport for the 3 hour direct flight to el Calafate, the entry point to Argentine Patagonia.
El Calafate is best known as the gateway to the sensational 700,000 hectare Los Glaciares National Park. You will enjoy a private excursion to the mighty Perito Moreno Glacier, which is unique in that it is advancing rather than retreating. Every now and then a block of ice will break off from the glacier and come crashing dramatically into the water below.

SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE
Today you will fly north to San Carlos de Bariloche and pick up your hire car. Bariloche (as it is more commonly known), is the largest town in the Lake District and is set on the edge of the vast Lago Nahuel Huapi. The town has a distinctly 鈥渁lpine鈥 feel, dotted with Swiss-style wooden chalets, fondue restaurants and chocolate shops.

SAN MARTIN DE LOS ANDES
On day 8 you will drive north along the beautifully scenic 鈥楽even Lakes鈥 route, towards the charming town of San Martin de los Andes. En route you can stop in Villa La Angostura, a picturesque resort town set amidst the photogenic lakes, forests and Andean mountains of the Nahuel Huapi National Park.
Your accommodation for the next two nights is a charming B&B in San Martin de los Andes. Close to the shimmering waters of Lake L谩car, it is the perfect base to explore the region and the nearby Lan铆n National Park. Trekking and mountain biking through jaw-dropping landscapes, sailing across glistening glacial lakes, horseback riding and even skiing (in the winter season) can all organised from here.

BUENOS AIRES
After dropping off your hire-car at San Martin de los Andes airport, you will fly back to Buenos Aires, for a final night in the captivating Argentine capital.

FLY HOME
After a final breakfast you will be driven to Buenos Aires international airport for your international flight home.
