JOURNEYS, TAILORED TO YOU
At 91ºÚÁÏÍø, every holiday is created individually around you. Use the itineraries here as inspiration, or as a starting point for planning your luxury Sri Lanka holiday.
SMALL ISLAND. DEEP VARIETY.
Sri Lanka is a destination of distinct chapters, and the pleasure is in how quickly the scenes change. Many journeys begin in Colombo, where we can set you up for an easy first night with a well-located hotel, a good table for dinner, and time to get your bearings before you head inland.
From there, the island’s past comes into focus in the Cultural Triangle. Expect early starts at landmark sites before the heat builds, and visits paced with space for the atmosphere as well as the history. If you want to go deeper, we can arrange a knowledgeable private guide who brings context to the temples, paintings and ruined cities without turning the day into a lecture.
Then the road climbs into the Hill Country, and everything cools down. Tea estates fold across the slopes and the days slow naturally. We often build in a scenic train journey, then balance it with gentle walks, an estate visit, and a stay that suits the setting, whether that is a classic planters’ bungalow feel or something more contemporary with big views.

Finish on the East Coast of Sri Lanka and the rhythm changes again. In season, the beaches are broad and golden, the water is warm, and days are easy to structure. We can add simple, low-effort extras that make a beach stay feel complete, from a private boat trip and snorkelling to a visit to a local market or a long seafood lunch arranged in the right place.
Culture here is not confined to headline sights. It shows up in the details: markets piled with fruit and spice, small workshops, and a food culture that is boldly flavoured and regional, from hoppers and short eats to fresh seafood on the coast. With the right pacing, Sri Lanka feels layered rather than busy, with time for slow breakfasts, unhurried drives and proper pauses between major stops.
Wildlife adds another dimension. Safaris can be built in as a key part of the route, whether you want a single well-timed game drive or a few nights in a quieter setting where the day starts early and the soundtrack is birdsong. Combine wildlife with the highlands and the coast and you have a trip that feels balanced: active where you want it, restful when you need it.
Sri Lanka works brilliantly as a single-country journey, and it can also be paired neatly with the Maldives for a straightforward beach finish. Most importantly, it is a destination where good planning changes everything. Choose the right route, the right bases and the right guides, and the island’s variety feels seamless.
