Of all the populated islands in the Galapagos, Isabela is one of the most pristine with an untamed landscape of towering volcanoes, natural forest and shallow waters. You’ll find the majority of the archipelago’s famous wildlife roaming the island, including blue footed boobies, marine iguanas and penguins in addition to numerous bird species. The iconic Galapagos tortoise can be found in the Sierra Negra Volcano area, whilst whales and dolphins can be spotted offshore.

You’ll find Scalesia Lodge nestled in the island’s forested highlands where it enjoys fabulous views over the coast and Pacific Ocean beyond.
