MIRIHI ISLAND RESORT

SUBLIME VIEWS

Escape to one of the smallest resorts in the Maldives where a powdery soft beach, a vibrant house reef and authentic Maldivian hospitality await your arrival.

Mirihi Island Resort sits on a tiny speck of white sand just 350 metres long and 50 metres wide. Designed without TVs, motorised water sports or loud music, there is nothing to disturb the serenity of the island. Staff are attentive, and there is a complimentary yoga class every morning. Nestled on the beach or perched on stilts above the turquoise waters, Mirihi鈥檚 Beach and Water Villas are their own little sanctuaries, each with a private sundeck and sublime views of the endless horizon. When it comes to dining, there are a number of romantic venues and menus, from freshly caught seafood at over-water Muraka to themed nights at the sand-floored Dhonveli.

Ringed by a spectacular reef populated by sea turtles and rainbow-hued fish, Mirihi is a paradise for keen snorkelers and divers. A short boat ride will bring you to the South Ari Atoll Marine Protected Area where whale sharks and manta rays are spotted year-round. You can venture further afield on a fishing trip aboard Mirihi鈥檚 traditional dhoni boat, before enjoying some chill-out time with a movie on the beach.

“FLAWLESS, AGAIN”
This is the third time I’ve used TUTC. The service, as before, was flawless. Aside from putting in place all the major details of a complex trip to Japan, Dan at TUTC nailed every detail: train tickets were for seats with large luggage space (very important in Japan, as we discovered); a mobile internet wifi was included; together with a pre-charged use-pretty-much-anywhere travel card (again, important – Japan has multiple transport companies). For any kind of complex trip I won’t go anywhere else.

“THREE HOLIDAYS IN AND STILL HIGHLY RECOMMEDED”
Dan Mills organised perfectly a challenging itinerary to incorporate a wedding we were attending in Kathmandu. A fantastic balance of trekking, rafting, safari, sightseeing and R&R. This was our third holiday with Ultimate Travel and we cannot recommend highly enough
