Fasano Salvador is located in one of the city’s most iconic buildings, the former headquarters of the city’s newspaper, ‘A Tarde’. Dating back to the 1930s, the building has a prime location for exploring the Pelourinho, Salvador’s old-town.

Once derelict, the building has been completely refurbished with the help of award-winning architect Isay Weinfeld.

Now it features expansive apartments, a rooftop pool, relaxing spa and business centre.

There are just 52 rooms, each stylishly decorated with marble bathrooms and views of the city or ocean. For those looking for a truly special experience, a night in one of the ocean-front suites is a must.
