Though just minutes from Merida, this elegant hideaway and its nine acres of luscious tropical gardens feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of the capital. The 18 suites come beautifully adorned with antiques, hand-carved colonial furnishings and intricate textiles. The bathrooms are generously sized with carved rock bathtubs.
