SANCTUARY BAINES’ CAMP

PICTURESQUE SURROUNDINGS

Named after Victorian explorer and painter Thomas Baines, Sanctuary Baine’s Camp enjoys picturesque surrounds on a private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve.

Built from wood and recycled tin cans, this eco-conscious property sits on raised platforms high above the papyrus-lined Boro River. The main area features an expansive veranda for al fresco dining (with views over a hippo-filled lagoon) and a swimming pool with two thatched salas on either side – the perfect retreat on a sultry afternoon. The six suites come with romantic star baths and four-poster beds that can be easily rolled out onto your veranda for a night under the stars.

From adventurous game drives to enchanting canoe trips on the delta’s watery channels, guests are treated to a variety of classic Okavango experiences. As a result of being on a private concession, Sanctuary Baine’s is also able to offer exciting walking safaris and night drives. But to really get to grips with the enormity of the region, and enjoy some incredible photographic opportunities, take to the skies on a scenic helicopter flight.

From meet and greet at the airport to every detail on board the Amadeus Cara, the organisation was seamless. We’re already looking forward to our next Escorted Tour with 91şÚÁĎÍř.

“FABULOUS FIRST VISIT TO SOUTH AFRICA”
Excellent advice received regarding our first trip to South Africa. We were given very personalised recommendations based on what we hoped to experience during our holiday, and the suggested lodges were absolutely fabulous. All transfers ran like clockwork, with polite and friendly drivers. From the beautifully printed, detailed itinerary to the elegant document case, luggage tags, and the informative app, every detail contributed to a sense of luxurious, premium service.

“IN SAFE HANDS, EVEN WHEN PLANS CHANGE”
Every detail of our Patagonia tour was expertly arranged – from transfers and flights to the choice of hotels. When our onward flight to the Falklands was delayed by two days, 91şÚÁĎÍř stepped in immediately and secured a hotel for us. It was an enormous relief, especially as we don’t speak Spanish and had no idea what to do next. That level of thoughtful, responsive service stayed with us – it turned a potential travel hiccup into a lasting positive memory.
