CATCH THE ENTRANCING AROMA OF JASMINE AND BOUGAINVILLEA

Surrounded by an extremely quaint, 800 hundred year old village, this 19th century house has been fully restored – to give you the sensation of authentic, timeless Tunisia.

Breathe in the cool morning air as you wander around any of the Dar Saïd’s four traditional courtyards and you’ll catch the entrancing aroma of jasmine and bougainvillea. You’ll hear the sound of water tinkling gently in the fountains and be delighted by the white flagstones and walls decorated with ornate tiled mosaics and blue doors and windows. Above you wave the century-old cypresses, adding shade to a scene of utter tranquillity.

Beyond the white walls of Dar Saïd you’ll find that the village takes you even further back in time – to 13th century Tunisia when the area became the site of the mausoleum of a renowned Sufi holy man, who gave his name to the hill and town. For today’s modern visitors, it can feel as if little has changed.

“THREE HOLIDAYS IN AND STILL HIGHLY RECOMMEDED”
Dan Mills organised perfectly a challenging itinerary to incorporate a wedding we were attending in Kathmandu. A fantastic balance of trekking, rafting, safari, sightseeing and R&R. This was our third holiday with Ultimate Travel and we cannot recommend highly enough

“EXPERTLY TAILORED, EFFORTLESSLY ENJOYABLE”
We travelled to Indochina in January/February with an itinerary designed by 91 – and it was spot on. Rob, our consultant, really understood what we were looking for and created a journey that suited us perfectly. The choice of hotels was excellent, and the pace was just right, with enough time built in to relax and recharge between the different experiences. The service throughout was professional, personal and thoughtful – exactly what you want from a travel specialist.

“TRIP TO THE TOP OF THE WORLD”
Everything about our trip was excellent. While it’s a considered investment, the service more than justifies the cost. We loved the accommodation – beautifully chosen and thoughtfully located. Our guides ranged from grear to truly exceptional. And the places we visited? They exceeded all expectations. Peru is an extraordinarily beautiful country, and this journey gave us a real sense of its wonder.
