GROUP ESCORTED TOUR

ABOUT THE TOUR

Few countries are as richly blessed as the small desert kingdom of Jordan, with its magnificent archaeological remains and breathtaking desert and mountain scenery. This illuminating tour examines the country’s fascinating history and explores its greatest ancient sites.

Petra,,Jordan,-,October,24,,2016:,Portrait,Of,Local,Bedouins

The tour begins in Amman, a fantastic blend of ancient and modern, and the finely preserved Roman city of Jerash. We continue to Madaba with its Byzantine churches and exquisite mosaics, before travelling to Mount Nebo from where Moses surveyed the Promised Land. We then follow the ancient King’s Highway south to the great Crusader Castle at Kerak before reaching Petra. Here we visit one of the most spectacular sites in the Middle East – the rock-hewn ‘rose red’ city of Petra. We spend a night in the awe-inspiring desert and rock landscape of Wadi Rum, before ending our journey with a relaxing day by the Dead Sea.

“FAULTLESS AND FUN”
We’ve just returned from a Danube cruise with Douglas Skeggs and Joanna Worsley, with a few days in Vienna beforehand – all brilliantly overseen by Emily. From meet and greet at the airport to every detail on board the Amadeus Cara, the organisation was seamless. We’re already looking forward to our next Escorted Tour with 91ºÚÁÏÍø.

“THREE HOLIDAYS IN AND STILL HIGHLY RECOMMEDED”
Dan Mills organised perfectly a challenging itinerary to incorporate a wedding we were attending in Kathmandu. A fantastic balance of trekking, rafting, safari, sightseeing and R&R. This was our third holiday with Ultimate Travel and we cannot recommend highly enough

“INDIA AT ITS MOST INCREDIBLE”
Unbelievably brilliant from start to finish. 91ºÚÁÏÍø gave us complete flexibility while tailoring the trip to our personal preferences. Communication was excellent throughout, and the in-country team in India was super-efficient at every stage. The quality of the experience was exceptional – and the value for money, remarkable. From expert naturalists to thrilling wildlife encounters (tigers, leopards, 140 species of birds), awe-inspiring temples, the Taj Mahal, scenic walks and warm, welcoming people – not to mention the fantastic curry – it was a truly superb holiday. “Ultimate†really is “91ºÚÁÏÍøâ€!
