Set on a working coffee farm on the outskirts of Arusha, this tranquil lodge is your gateway to Tanzania’s much-celebrated Northern Safari Circuit. Whether you choose to stay at the beginning or end of your safari expedition, you’ll be able to unwind amidst tropical gardens, indulge in pampering spa treatments and partake in insightful coffee farm tours.

There are nearby National Parks you can explore on day trips, whilst the vibrant markets of Arusha are just a stone’s throw away.

Back inside, you’ll be able to enjoy the seclusion and comfort of your own beautiful garden cottage, which comes complete with a wraparound veranda, cosy fireplace and oversized bed draped in billowing mosquito nets. The main lodge building has a shared living room and library, whilst private tables are arranged out on the terrace or in the garden for guests to enjoy gourmet breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

This is the third time I’ve used TUTC. The service, as before, was flawless. Aside from putting in place all the major details of a complex trip to Japan, Dan at TUTC nailed every detail: train tickets were for seats with large luggage space (very important in Japan, as we discovered); a mobile internet wifi was included; together with a pre-charged use-pretty-much-anywhere travel card (again, important – Japan has multiple transport companies). For any kind of complex trip I won’t go anywhere else.
